This Easy Beef Taco Skillet is a tasty weeknight meal!

If you’re like me, you want a meal that is quick and easy for the weeknights. My boys keep us busy with practices and games. I know I will miss those someday! For those who work longer hours or have extracurricular activities, these types of meals are the perfect solution to get dinner on the table in a hurry.

This easy and versatile 30-minute beef taco skillet can be served a couple of ways. For a delicious main course, serve with shredded lettuce, salsa, chopped tomatoes, extra cheese, and some warm corn taco shells or large lettuce leaves for wrapping. For a hearty appetizer, as shown here, serve with gluten-free tortilla chips and top with diced tomatoes, green onion, avocado, and extra cheese right before serving.

If you have extra time or want to make it in advance, my fresh homemade salsa is the perfect complement to this dish!

Rather than adding unnecessary MSGs or salt to your diet, try making the taco seasoning recipe that I have included. It is easy to make up a batch and keep in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Remaining taco seasoning can be stored in an airtight container with a tight-fitting lid for several months.
