Fresh Fruit Salad with Honey-Yogurt Dip

Fresh Fruit Salad is the perfect sweet-craving fix!

When I’m craving something sweet, I have a bad habit of reaching for chocolate or candy. When I mix up a batch of fruit salad, I grab it instead. Stop using canned and pre-made versions that are pre-packed in heavy syrups. It’s super easy to make your own!

The standout “star” in this flavorful fruit salad is the addition of Cotton Candy® grapes. This newer, super sweet variety delivers a very distinctive flavor worthy of its memory-invoking name. Cotton Candy® grapes are not a genetically modified food. Instead, their wonderful taste is the result of selective natural cross-breeding practices conducted over many years.

If you can’t find Cotton Candy® grapes in your local produce section, any variety of grape will work.

For the best presentation, do not add the strawberries to the salad until right before serving. Otherwise, the lighter-colored fruits will absorb their bright red color. To prevent browning, slice and add kiwi to the bowl right before serving, as well.

Tools You’ll Need:

Two Medium-Sized Bowls with a Tight-Fitting Lid – You will need one bowl for mixing up your yogurt dip and a second to mix up your cut fruit.

Cutting Board – To dice and chop your fruit, use a sturdy cutting board. I love the Gorilla Grip brand because of the grooves along the edges. They keep juice from running off onto the counter.

4-Inch Paring Knife – To cut and slice your fruit, you’ll need a sharp paring knife. Using a knife that is dull will smash the fruit rather than cut or slice it.

Pineapple Corer and Slicer Tool – When using fresh pineapple in your salad, you’ll want one of these corer/slicer tools. They are a big time saver and get the most of your fresh pineapple!

Chip/Dip Server – A chip and dip server works well for fruit salad and dip.

For additional sweetness, drizzle mixture with honey and gently stir to combine, if desired.

Chill fruit mixture in refrigerator for at least one hour. Place prepared strawberries in a separate container to chill at the same time.
